What do we say when a prospect says ” Maybe” to joining the business?
This is a brand new technique that involves a fundamental change in the one of basic concepts and practices in how we go about building the business.
Step 1 - If I could, would you
If I could show you a way you could keep your wallet in your pocket, and you didn’t have to spend a dime right now, and I did most of the work, with no money now whatsoever, where you could make approximately 75 dollars an hour working in the comfort of your home, would it be worth an investment of an addition two hours of your time to see if Ambit Energy could work for you and your family.
Step 2 - Getting the Customer List
Help the prospect sign themselves up on paper, and help them build a written list of potential customers.
Step 3- Train the potential consultant how to ask for a favor while incorporating their why.
You will spend about 15 minutes teaching them how to ask people to do them a favor. Use Ambit U200 #12 Getting them Paid by Ray Montie. Use the first 6 min 23 seconds.
Have the prospect write down their why on paper.
Have the prospect write on paper exactly what they will say incorporating their why. You can have the basic favor approach ready on your phone in the form of a text message to send to them as well:
- “I need to ask you a favor.” (What is it?)
- If I can save you a little money, and it won’t cost you anything, and it would be really important to me to allow me to spend more time with the kids, would you be willing to help me out?
Step 4- Prepare them mentally for rejection before they start making phone call
Explain to them that some will , some won’t , so what. It is important to prepare them for negativity before they get it!
Step 5- Make phone calls and sign up customers
Put the customers as they sign up under you personally if you have 20 customers and you have the ability to move them within a week to the new consultant when they sign up and if not sign them up on paper.
Step 6- Sign them up as a consultant, transfer customers, and get them paid!
It is time to get them paid! Calculate how much money they made per hour. This is what its all about, the transfer of excitement and belief.
Step 7- Get their written list and duplicate!
It’s time to get their written list of contacts, and help them duplicate what you just did with them. It’s game time!
